Diemersfontein wine estate (http://www.diemersfontein.co.za) is situated in Wellington, Western Cape, South Africa and is home of the original and Internationally acclaimed coffee Pinotage red wine (Pinotage grapes / wine, is exclusive to South Africa). On 21 March 2010 this beautiful and idyllic estate hosted the start of the world famous ABSA Epic Cycle Challenge as well as a wine harvest festival in their courtyard together with live music (The Jo Martin Band was excellent) and plenty of wine! Needless to say: This was a great day out with my family and produced great photo magic. One pass: All day wine tasting! When Marius and Michelle mentioned family photos, I envisioned and suggested some great family fun at Big Bay, near Blaauwberg, South Africa: Wide open sandy beach, icy water (an instant recipe to create great reactions and expressions) and lovely surroundings that provides for great backdrops and texture for Contrast Color and Black and white shots to exaggerate the fun. As promised, Here are some highlights of their session! WOW,WOW! WOW! You capture the moments, the feelings beautifully and the photos come "alive". I see the feelings and expressions of my children come alive on every photo and I become part of that moment. The variety you provide is so diverse and unique and works well together. W hen Katrin of Africade Productions invited us to “Jou ma se comedy club” @ The River Club in Mowbray, to see her husband Kurt Schoonraad , professional comedian and other comedians like Nik Rabinowitz (Jewish-xhosa speaking comedian) perform we didn't know that we’d experience SO much amusement and hilarity in one night! What an absolute smashing evening! Kurt Schoonraad also featured in the February issue of Khuluma Magazine on why local is so lekker, ek sê! We have been priviledged this year to photograph some outstanding musical talent and Me'sha Bryan is no exception! Photographing the band for their latest DVD release was great fun and the image above is a copy of the DVD inlay, designed by the very talented Lise-Mari to accompany the video footage by Coetzee AV Productions .

A copy of the article we did for the luxury lifestyle Lusso Magazine on a journey through the West of Scotland onboard the Royal Scotsman . What an incredibly memorable experience... Gliding past lochs with the steady rhythm of the rails below or enjoying cocktails on the veranda, this is true Scottish splendour.

A fond farewell to London, as we return to South Africa after almost 3 years in the UK this time.  The vibrancy of this city is amazing and we dearly miss our good friends and the services and brunch at HTB !  It's hardly possible to describe our experiences in one blog entry, but we have so much to be thankful for and will always treasure the time of our lives spent here.  Thank you London...
